Theodore A. Norder, Sr.

Theodore A. “Ted” Norder, Sr., age 92 of Janesville, passed away at Mercy Hospital on May 7, 2026. He was born in Beloit on February 13, 1934, the son of Clifford and Dorothy (Nelson) Norder. Ted married Gloria Rahorn on November 7, 1952.

Ted was employed by Yagla’s TV for seven years and by Durst Corporation for 39 years until retiring in 1999. He was a member of First Lutheran Church.

Ted Norder is survived by his wife, Gloria; son, Ted (Carol) Norder Jr.; grandchildren, Ted W. (Kara) Norder, Leanne (Shawn) Barbarick, Quentin R. Wampole, Jessica (Steve) Szyjewski, Dana Ripley, Aaron Ripley; sister-in-law Mary Rahorn; many special great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Penny (Norder) Wampole; brother, Bob Norder; sister-n-law Monie Norder; brothers-in-law Richard, Ronald and Lyle Rahorn.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May13, 2026 at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Road, Janesville. Rev. James Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13th at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME. Online condolences may be sent to www.henkeclarson.com.
