Suzanne M. Lewellin

Suzanne Marie Lewellin of Janesville, passed away on June 27, 2026, at Mercyhealth Hospital at the age of 74. A life-long Janesville resident, Suzanne was born on July 19, 1951, the daughter of Francis and Elizabeth (Bennett) Wiskie. She was a 1969 graduate of Janesville Senior High School.

Suzanne married David F. Lewellin on September 14, 1974. At the age of 15, Suzanne began working in the dietary department at Mercy Hospital and she continued working there for 46 years, retiring as the manager of the department. She will be remembered for her love of cooking. Wherever Suzanne went no one ever went away hungry. Heaven has gained a great host and a remarkable cook.

Suzanne is survived by her husband of nearly 52 years, Dave Lewellin; son, Ian Lewellin; grandsons, Kobe and Owin Lewellin; brother, David (Nancy) Wiskie; brother-in-law, Rodney (Susan) Lewellin; cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Charles Wiskie and an infant sister, Beth Ann Wiskie.

A memorial gathering to honor Suzanne’s life will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Road, Janesville. Online condolences can be shared at www.henkeclarson.com.
