Souad M. Hanna

Souad M. Hanna, a beloved wife, sister, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Zahle, Lebanon, on October 18, 1943. In 1966, Souad immigrated to the United States to begin a new life full of hope and promise. It was here that she married her husband, Munir W. Hanna. Over the years, she became a cherished matriarch, building a legacy of love, faith, and loyalty that will be remembered by all who knew her. Souad's faith was a testament to everyone. She is survived by her sister, three children, their families, and two cats, Ruby and Cooper. She also leaves behind four beautiful grandchildren who were a constant source of joy in her life.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, 1010 N. Wright Road, Janesville. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a service that will be officiated by Fr. Chris Margellos of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, Madison. Immediately after the service, please join us for a luncheon at The Italian House until 2 p.m. In lieu of gifts and flowers, please consider donating to the Greek Orthodox Church in Madison in mom’s name.
