Sandra Elaine Lantz

Sandra Elaine Lantz of Janesville passed away at her home on Thursday, April 30, 2026. She was 83. Sandra was born in Footville, WI on October 6, 1942, the daughter of Werner and Lois (Torpy) Burki. She grew up on a farm near Footville and graduated from Clinton High School. Sandra went on to receive a degree as a registered nurse from Mercy School of Nursing.

Sandra married Victor E. Lantz on November 16, 1963. She was employed for many years by Mercy Hospital as a registered nurse. She was a member of Nativity of Mary Catholic Church and Mercy School of Nursing Alumni Association.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 62 years, Victor E. Lantz; children, Keri (Michael) Volinkaty, Kirk (Melissa) Lantz, Kelly (Steve) Glissendorf; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Brent (Kay) Burki, Kenton (Hanie) Burki; sister, Robin (Tom) Weis; brother-in-law David Lantz; sister-in-law, Mary (Art) Christian. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at NATIVITY OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH. Burial will follow in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Visitation will be at NATIVITY OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 5th. Sandra Lantz’s family is being assisted by HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME.
