Myron Sydney Jenson, age 70, a life-long Janesville area resident passed away at his home on April 23, 2026. He was born in Janesville on January 21, 1956, the son of Sydney and Lola (Roberts) Jenson. Myron graduated from Milton High School in 1974 where he was a state wrestling champion.
Following high school, Myron went to work in the family business, Midwest Tree and Excavating. He also owned and operated MTE laying underground utilities for many years until retiring. He was an honorary member of the Janesville Mooe Lodge and was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church, Janesville.
Myron married Shelly L. Hefty on March 3, 1997. He will be remembered for his love for Farmall tractors and his love for raising the eight miny beef cattle he raised during his lifetime. His brothers describe him as the “Best brother anyone could ever have.”
Myron is survived by his wife, Shelly Jenson; brothers. Marvin Jenson and Mark (Barbara Bier) Jenson; stepchildren, John (Kassi) Clark and Jenny (David) Scarborough; six grandchildren; one niece and three nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sydney and Lola Jenson, and his sister, Marcia Jenson.
In keeping with Myron’s wishes, graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Milton Lawns Memorial Park followed by burial there. Rev. James Johnson will officiate.
