Karen Louise Teubert

Karen Louise Teubert, age 75, of Janesville, WI passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026 at home. She was born on December 19, 1950 in Milwaukee, WI to Raymond and Louise Teeter. She graduated from Craig High School in 1969 and attended college classes at Carroll College and UW Whitewater. She retired from Wal-Mart after many years of employment as a department manager of the electronics department. She also worked at Radio Shack and at Parker Pen. Karen is known for her creative abilities that included sewing projects, making quilts, crocheting, making porcelain dolls, canning, and baking. She shared her love of those hobbies with her family and friends. Karen researched genealogy and helped her family make connections to their history. She also became an advocate for Parkinson’s Disease and a regular attendee of the Rock Steady Boxing group. With any adversity she faced, she faced it head on with strength, resilience and did not dwell in negativity about it.

Karen is survived by her husband of nearly 55 years, Gary Teubert; her children Mathew (Peggy), Angela (Todd) and John (Brett); 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; two brothers Jim and Dale and sister, Kathy.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Chuck.

Her family would especially like to thank her three caregivers who helped provide care for her that allowed her to continue to live at home and the staff at Agrace who provide care and comfort for her.
