Karen Anne Russell

Karen Anne Russell, age 77 of Janesville, WI passed away peacefully on August 29, 2023 at Oak Park Place. She was born in Janesville on January 8, 1946, the daughter of Edwin and Freda (Delsrude) Lewis. Karen married Frank Russell in 1977, together they had a son, William Russell.

She was employed by The Brennan Steil Law Firm.

Karen was a kind and loving mother, grandmother and friend she will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her step-children Kevin (Denise) Russell, Melissa (Carl) Hood and Brian (Danielle) Russell, Ashley Mallu; grandchildren, Ashley (Christopher) Cook, Tyler (Amanda) Russell, Russell (Sierra) Milam, Kelsey (Jeremy) Watson, Brianna (Ken) Johnston, Aaron Hood, Andrew Hood, Ariel (Ron) Placko, Frank Russell, Trent Russell, Seth Russell; and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and siblings, Karen is preceded in death by her husband, Frank and her son William.

Visitation will be held from 10 am-11:30 on September 16th at the Rotary Botanical Gardens 1455 Palmer Drive Janesville, WI 53545. A memorial service to honor Karen’s life will then be held at 11:30 followed by a family luncheon.
