Kandy Kaye Olurin

Kandy Kaye Olurin (Dewey), age 50, of Janesville, Wis., passed away on October 16, 2026.

Kandy was a woman whose heart was filled with love for Jesus, her family, and everyone she met. She had a special way of making people feel welcome, loved, and like they were part of her family. Whether you had known her for years or had just met her, Kandy had a way of making you feel like you belonged. Her kindness, warmth, and unforgettable personality touched the lives of so many, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Above all, Kandy loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. They were her heart and her greatest treasures. The memories made with them, the laughter shared, and the love she poured into her family will forever remain a part of them. Her faith in Jesus was an important part of her life, and the love she carried for Him and her family leaves behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.

Kandy brought laughter wherever she went. Her quick wit made her the best Spades partner, and she looked forward to a good game every holiday. Those games were about more than just cards; they were about family, togetherness, friendly competition, and making memories that will be cherished for years to come. We’re at peace knowing she’s back with her favorite partner, Bernard Sr.

Kandy also loved getting dolled up every chance she got. She enjoyed looking and feeling her best, with freshly done nails and all her favorite jewelry. And, of course, she would never turn down a little shopping. So, as we imagine her in heaven, may she be resting peacefully with her nails freshly done, all her jewelry shining, and a credit card that heaven can't decline.

Kandy was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Dewey (Kathy) and Mary Chroninger (Pike) Ex husband John Wortham and Partner Bernard Warren.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Caitlin (Damien), Gracie, and Brittnie, and her son, Bernard, along with her beloved grandchildren, Brinley, Layla, Lydia, Liam, Baby Bernard and Callie. Two sisters and brother and countless nieces and nephews and all those whose lives she touched with her love, laughter, and kindness.

Though our hearts are broken by her absence, we find comfort in the love she gave, the memories she created, and the faith she carried. The sound of her laughter, her quick wit, her generous heart, and the way she made everyone feel like family will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Kandy, your love for Jesus and your family, especially your grandchildren, will never be forgotten. You were loved beyond words, and you will be missed beyond measure. May you rest in peace, surrounded by the love of Jesus, with beautiful nails, all your jewelry, and a credit card that never gets declined.

Until we meet again, rest peacefully, Kandy. You will forever be loved, forever be remembered, and forever be a part of us.
