Jose Lopez, Sr.

Jose Lopez Sr. of West Allis, WI passed away at his home on August 17, 2025. He was born in Puerto Rico on February 3, 1945, the son of Julio and Faustina (Vega) Lopez. He married Barbara Williams on November 15, 1975. Jose resided in the Milwaukee area most of his life and was employed by Grede Foundry for 35 years prior to retiring.

Jose is survived by his former wife, Barbara with whom he remained close; children Jose (Brandy) Lopez Jr., Sabrena (Mark) Lopez Rimnac, Wade (Nicki) Gibbs, Tina (Onicemo) Labra; grandchildren, Kenon, Jovon, Stefon, Staci, Mari, Shadae, Aiden, Isaiah, Angel, Brenna, Angelica, Anthony, Melanie, Julian, Julianna; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Giga, Conco, Andre, Lida. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Tito, Henyo, Julian and Antonio.

Funeral services will be at 11a.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Road, Janesville. Pastor Kelvin Pryor will officiate. Burial will follow in Floral Lawns Cemetery, South Beloit, IL. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. August 27th at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME. Online condolences may be sent to www.henkeclarson.com.
