Janice A. Reisdorfer

Janice (Jan) A. Reisdorfer passed away on January 1, 2026, at age 80. She was born on May 17, 1945 in Mauston, WI daughter of Lloyd E. Adrion and Inga B. (Olson) Adrion. She graduated from Tomah High School on May 29, 1963.

Jan began working at First Federal Savings & Loan Association in LaCrosse, WI in December 1966 and worked there until June 1989.

On September 3, 1988 she married Gene R. Reisdorfer and in June of 1989 moved to Janesville, WI. In July 1989, she began work at a newly formed branch of First Federal as a loan coordinator-loan closer until September 2006 when she retired after working almost 40 years for First Federal.

Jan is survived by her daughter Kay (Arvid) Amundson; grandsons Kyle (Emily) Amundson and Samuel (Mandy) Amundson; great-grandsons Spencer and Winston; great-granddaughter, Adelyn; sister, Wanda (John) Ryshkus; and beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Gene, her parents, and brother; Dwayne. As well as a special niece, Shannon Renee.

Jan’s best lifetime experience was being in the delivery room & holding newborn grandsons Kyle & Samuel. She was an avid Nascar & football fan especially for the Green Bay Packers. At age 40, Jan obtained her motorcycle license & began a 25 year membership with Women on Wheels. She traveled on a 1988 Yamaha Virago 1100 through 48 states and 9 Canadian Provinces. Jan also enjoyed deer hunting, camping and fishing with Gene. Jan loved to travel. She collected rocks from all over the country & placed them around the exterior of their house as special memories of her trips. Jan will always be remembered for her delicious apple pies.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Milton Lawns Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
