Floyd T. Lemmer

Floyd T. Lemmer, age 86 of Janesville passed away at Our House Assisted Living on Wednesday November 30, 2022. He was born in Wausau, WI on December 16, 1935 the son of Arthur and Christine (Muelbeck) Lemmer. He grew up in Marathon, WI where he graduated from high school.

Floyd married Patricia Jean Dillion in September of 1962. He was employed by Wausau Motors. He moved to Janesville to work at the Chrysler Assembly Plant in Belvidere, IL where he was employed for 30 years until he retired. Floyd was fond of the outdoors, hunting and fishing but his favorite activity was family time. He was a member of St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Floyd Lemmer is survived by three sons; James Lemmer of Beloit, Thomas (Marcia) Lemmer of Janesville, John (Tracy) Lemmer of Janesville; six grandchildren, Matthew, Austin, Zachary, Bethany, Shane, Brianna; six great-grandchildren; his brother, Lyle Lemmer.

Floyd was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lemmer on July 21, 2020. His parents Arthur and Christine Lemmer, his brother Keith and his sisters Shirley and Phyllis also preceded him in death.

Private services will be held on December 8, 2022 at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME. Pastor James Janke will officiate.
