Edward H. Teubert

Edward Henry Teubert, 78, of Janesville, passed away on May 27, 2026, at his home following a courageous battle with cancer and heart disease. Ed was born on September 4, 1947, in Harmony Township, Rock County, to Henry and Josephine (Rye) Teubert. He grew up in Emerald Grove and then moved to La Prairie Township where his family farmed continuously throughout his life. Following graduation from Janesville High School in 1965 he attended UW-Madison Agriculture Short course.

A member of Emerald Grove Church and the La Prairie 4-H Club, he met his wife of 56 years, Marcia Campion, through his 4-H activities. They were married on March 21, 1970, and raised three children together. Over the years, they enjoyed county fairs, RV trips, cruises, and wintering in Florida. Through these activities, they were blessed with many wonderful friendships.

A farmer to the core, Ed loved being outdoors. He built his farm by raising registered Angus cattle, which he later transitioned into a Holstein milking operation. He found joy in simple pleasures: watching his children and grandchildren show cattle in 4-H, riding horses, spending time with his dogs, driving antique tractors, and tending to his garden and fruit trees. Ed loved sharing his produce and bringing smiles to others with his sense of humor. Above all, he adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Edward Teubert is survived by his wife, Marcia; children, Jay (Marianne Gehrt) Teubert, Jennifer (Jamie) Washtock, and Chad Teubert; grandchildren, Jaks Teubert (Paige Lippert), Morgan Teubert, Felicia Teubert, Elli Teubert, Brennan Washtock, and Jaret Washtock; and great-grandchildren, Jayson and Paisley. He is also survived by two brothers, as well as many nieces and nephews whom he loved.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at EMERALD GROVE CHURCH, 8127 US-14, Janesville, with funeral services to follow at 1 p.m. Burial will take place at Emerald Grove Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon and time of fellowship following the burial at Emerald Grove Congregational United Church of Christ.
