DONNA MAE KINSERVIK-PHILLIPS-HENNING-TITUS
January 11,1934 - October 7, 2025
“Well done, good and faithful servant!” Those are the words Donna heard from her Savior Tuesday morning as He wrapped her in His arms. Life accomplishments she enjoyed were being Rock County 4-H queen in 1952, working in the clerical pool at Parker Pen, where she eventually became an executive secretary, and completed her career as an executive secretary at Lab Safety Supply. She retired from Lab Safety to care for her great-grandchildren. Joyfully caring for siblings, nieces and nephews, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren kept Donna young and active. She enjoyed supporting her “grands’ and “greats” at football, baseball, volleyball games, track, gymnastics, wrestling competitions, school and community theater and musical performances. She loved being with family and enjoyed just gathering around the kitchen table for game nights.
For more than 30 years she was mission-minded, doing short-term missions to Ukraine, Haiti, several trips to rebuild after hurricanes in the US, and leading the mission team, youth and Awana programs at Roxbury Church of Christ, where she could be found serving in the kitchen or wherever she was needed. She spent 45 of her 91 years on this earth guiding people in their reading and understanding of the Bible. For her this was her greatest achievement. As her grandson recently remarked, she was an apostle and a saint!
She loved 3 husbands well. Her first husband, Carl D. Phillips gave her 4 beautiful children, Teri (Rick) Behm, Greg (Cheryl) Phillips, Jody (Dick) Motley, and Katie (Gerry) Rinck. Her second husband, Philip H. Henning, gave her 7 years of love and adventure and 5 step-children. For the past 10 years, her husband John P. Titus shared sunny days on the deck and living room concerts with her, and 3 step-sons and families to love. John loved her to the end.
To her 11 grandchildren and spouses she was Grandma. To her 25 great-grandchildren she was GG. They will remember her for her love and her generosity with hugs, kisses, and snacks!
The family would like to thank Agrace Hospice, and in particular Ashley, Jill, Bailey, Maggie and Stephanie. Without your help we would not have been able to cherish and enjoy our last days with GG.
We are so grateful for her long healthy and active life and for all who got a chance to know her well! Her lifelong mission was that all who knew her—especially her children, grands, and greats—would know Jesus as their Savior. So, if you knew her, she is waiting to see you in heaven—make sure you get there!
