Donald Elmer Swenson

Donald Elmer Swenson, age 78, of Janesville passed away at his home on November 13, 2025. He was born on December 13, 1946, the son of Elmer and Rose (Albright) Swenson. He grew up in the Edgerton and Stoughton area. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Donald married Donna E. McLean on January 17, 1970.

Donald was employed as a welder for many years and worked for Highway Trailer Company (Dorsey Trailers). He will also be remembered for owning and operating Riverside Bait Shop #2 in Janesville for many years. He enjoyed cooking and fishing.

Donald Swenson is survived by his wife, Donna Swenson; daughter, Sarah (Todd) Olson; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son Russell Swenson and son, Steven Swenson.
