Cheryl Jean Phillips

In true Cheryl fashion, she had everything planned, going as far as writing her own obituary. As much as I wanted to rewrite it and honor her as only one doting daughter could, I know she did it so we wouldn’t have too. There in lies just how wonderful she was. Glen and I will go along with her wishes, though she definitely downplayed her love for companion animals (Cats - Sassy and Annie; Dogs - Mike, Katie, Raulphie, and Mo.) ~ Caitlin

“I died on October 4th, 2023 born to Larry and Lillian Lathrop, growing up in Janesville with 2 brothers Eric and Steve.

Among passions in life were traveling the country with my husband Glen, shopping with Caitlin, bird watching, and sharing good food and a cold beer with the girls.

Spending time with my family were among the most cherished memories. “

Survived by mother Lillian Hamilton; father Larry (Jayne) Lathrop; brothers; Eric and Steve (Debbie) Lathrop; husband; Glen Phillips, daughter; Caitlin Gutoski, stepson; Bryan Phillips (Maggie Reid), stepdaughter; Elizabeth (Shawn) Moffett, granddaughters; Ella and Reese Gutoski, Juniper Moffett and grandson; Alder Moffett, nieces; Korby and Lily Lathrop, nephew; Jacob (Nicole) Lathrop.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
