Barbara Ann Ehlers

Barbara Ann Ehlers, 90, of Milton Senior Living passed away on October 23, 2026 at the Edgerton Care Center. Barbara was born in Montreal, WI on October 18, 1936, the daughter of Stanley and Mary (Krpan) Warzynski. She grew up in Hurley, WI where she graduated from Hurley High School. She moved to Milwaukee, WI when she was 18 years old. Barbara married Thomas Ehlers in 1955. They resided in Milwaukee until Thomas retired in 1983. They moved to Phelps, WI and later to Florence, WI. Thomas died in June of 1995. In 2004, Barbara moved to Janesville. In 2012 she moved to Arizona to be near her sister-in-law and returned to the Janesville area in 2019.

Barbara is survived by her son, Thomas (Dorothy) Ehlers of Janesville, grandson, Casey (Tracy) Ehlers; granddaughter, Olivia (Alec) Johnson; great-grandchildren, Eloise, Edith, Arlo and Abraham Ehlers; sister-in-law, Patricia Sauberan; nephews, Raef and Jason Warzynski.

Private graveside services and burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hurley, WI where Barbara will be laid to rest next to her husband, Thomas Ehlers.
